If the base is bonus plus deposit, a RM50 deposit plus RM50 bonus at 20× means RM2,000. These figures are illustrations, not Alibaba66's terms — the method is what matters.
Estimating the cost
Every bet carries an expected loss equal to the stake times the house edge. On a game returning 96% on average, the edge is about 4%. RM1,000 of wagering on such a game has an expected cost of about RM40. If the bonus is RM50, the expected value is modestly positive; if the wagering were RM2,000, the expected cost of RM80 would exceed the bonus. Real results vary wildly around this average, but the average tells you whether an offer is generous or not.
